Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, the newly appointed Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia, the latter’s government informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the meeting, the level of Armenia-EU relations was lauded by both sides. In this context, the work of the EU civilian mission in Armenia was highlighted.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the EU and Armenia from the point of view of implementation of sectoral reforms. It was agreed to make joint efforts to make the CEPA enforcement process more effective.
The progress of the programs being implemented in Armenia under the EU Economic and Investment Plan was also discussed. In this context, the importance of Armenia’s collaboration with EU financial organizations was emphasized.
