Brussels (50). Two years in the war of Russian aggression against the Ukraine the balance is grim. Let us take stock. Leadership. The EU model of command and control consist of an old grumpy old general, an Austrian, who nobody has heard before, taking a political control of a pretty large army based of a defeatist model. The question to pose is the General who often is compared with Franz Josef I. suitable for modern command? The likely answer is no. The European play wars. The Europeans appear to be out of the fight. NATO command is in contradiction with…
Armenia’s Ambassador to Belgium Tigran Balayan met with Armenian patients injured in fuel depot explosion near Stepanakert on September 25, which occurred during the forced displacement of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh. The patients thanked the Belgian side for their prompt reaction and effective treatment. Ambassador Balayan informed the patients that efforts are being made to implement the interim decisions of the International Court of Justice to ensure the rights of the forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh so that they can return to their homes under an international guarantee, and assured that no effort will be spared to implement the…

While the EU has led the development of green finance standards, Asia is ahead of the curve on transition finance, with Japan driving the transition bond market. When speaking of leaders in the transition to net zero, Japan — or Asia, for that matter — doesn’t spring to mind. After all, Asia’s emission intensity (how much a given pollutant is emitted relative to a specific activity or industrial process) is more than 40% higher than the rest of the world’s, according to the Asian Development Bank. And the region is home to economies with a high level of fossil fuel…

Azerbaijan continues to propagate racist stereotypes and perpetuate animosities, the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) said in its 6th report on Azerbaijan. It said that public discourse in Azerbaijan has been marked by the use of inflammatory rhetoric in public statements by politicians, including at the highest political level, and other public figures, as well as by the wide dissemination of hateful and dehumanising content against Armenia. The report stated that discriminatory language in Azerbaijani school textbooks against Armenians exists. “In this context, ECRI is deeply concerned that the use of hate speech linked to the long-lasting conflict and confrontations…
Bagrat Mikoyan, the head of the office of the second President of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Robert Kocharyan, responded to Tuesday’s statements by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. In particular, Mikoyan noted as follows: I got acquainted with Nikol Pashinyan’s thoughts expressed yesterday. Perhaps, realizing where he has made Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] and Armenia reach, he is trying to put the blame on others by all possible and impossible means. Although we have repeatedly referred to the falsity of these accusations with facts, we have to repeat once more. As of 1998, there was no person in the Republic of Armenia…

The Kremlin spokesperson added that Russia continues to develop its allied…
Pashinyan sold Putin out, not just betrayed. To make it even clearer, I will put it this way – for euros. The topic of betrayal is not up for discussion at all. It is obvious and has already been discussed multiple times. In the long-range view, there is nothing left to discuss, there is even nothing to predict and forecast. What Pashinyan is doing has been clear for a long time. In 2008 some guy named Nikol Pashinyan stepped in when in the same year Turkey announced its plans for a Caucasus platform which would unite the Turkic states. For some…
