Within the framework of the visit to the UK, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan presented the commemorative medal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia to Dr. Steven Leonard Alexander Jeffery at the Embassy of Armenia in the United Kingdom for his service to the Republic of Armenia in the field of healthcare and tireless humanitarian activities, the Ministry informs.
During the 44-day war, Dr. Jeffery came to Armenia at the invitation of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, and for 16 days, performed complicated surgeries with Armenian doctors in various Armenian hospitals, saving dozens of lives.
