The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited all Armenians detained in Azerbaijan. Zara Amatuni, Communication and Prevention Program Manager of the ICRC Armenia office, told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
Among these detainees were Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) resident Vagif Khachatryan, who was abducted by the Azerbaijanis from their illegal checkpoint installed on the Hakari bridge, and Armenian reservist Gagik Voskanyan, who was captured by the Azerbaijanis in August.
Also, the representatives of the Red Cross focused on the matters related to the conditions of detention of these Armenians and their health condition, about which, however, the ICRC Armenia office cannot provide details.
